Year in Review

It’s time for my annual “Year in Review,” when I treat readers to the first line of the first post of each month.  I even provide a link, hoping to entice you to check out the entire post.  I think you’ll find it painfully evident that I completely forget that this post is coming when I sit down to write at the beginning of each month.

January:   I first tried this last year, and thought I’d give it a go again.

February:  I figure I can post about the weather at will now.

March:  For some reason, BD is often embarrassed by my behavior.

April:  How kind of Google to come up with an April Fool prank so I don’t have to.

May:  The Kentucky Derby Festival has been going on for a couple of months now.

June:  We’ve belonged to a local pool since moving here in the summer of 1990.

July:  Mr. B and I ended up with tickets to baseball games for last night and tomorrow night.

August:  Yup, school starts here in less than two weeks.

September:  After several years of being hosted by my friend, Annie, who also designed my blog, I am now being hosted by my Baby Bro.

October:  Yesterday morning, in the midst of communion, the fire alarm went off at church.

November:  OK, I’ve decided to give nablopomo a shot this year.

December:  You are a Gingerbread House.

Hmmm. My husband is embarassed when I wear the reindeer antlers and jingle bells. My kids are embarassed when i dance and sing in the grocery store. My mom is embarassed when i let out a war whoop over a great deal in the thrift store.

I guess I live in your March ll year ’round.

By the way, you know you called this a review of 2009, right? Even though 2009 hadn’t started yet?
