If you go into Taco Bell with a purse, you might want to make sure that you come out with one, too, thus saving yourself a lot of worry, not to mention the time and gas driving back to get it.
And here’s a huge thanks to the anonymous customers who pointed it out to the cashier who then locked it in the office. I did NOT take her up on her offer to check that everything was still there (at least, not in front of her).

Wow – that’s quite lucky and nice of the other patrons to turn it in. I absolutely hate that feeling when you suddenly realize you don’t have your purse.
There’s a good argument for just using pockets…if I forget my wallet anywhere, it means I took my pants off. And that just calls for losing one’s wallet…
Most people are basically good and try to do the right thing. But yeah. I’d have checked contents when I got in the car…just in case.
