Lesson Learned

We let BD go away with a friend’s family for a few days.  We’ve met the mother before, but I’ll confess we don’t know them all that well.  We do like the daughter, so we figured it was all right to let BD go.

The mom called me yesterday to ask if it was okay to let the girls go to a water park with the older son and his friend.  She and Dad would be nearby, but not at the park.  After checking with Mr B (who is much softer on these issues than I am), we agreed.

BD called today with a bit of news.

I am pretty sure that I never, ever agreed to letting her get a tattoo.  Even a henna one.

Maybe it’s time for one of those “with freedom comes responsibility” talks. I’ve had my share of them with my boys!

Hey, at least it’s not permanent!

Not that this helps anything, but BUsy Girl got an unannounced henna tattoo and she turned out to be allergic to it. Heh.
