A couple of days ago I got on a plane to fly to upstate New York and visit my family. At the time, I wondered what kind of an idiot comes to Syracuse in the wintertime.
Looks like the people I left behind are going to be socked with a winter storm tomorrow. 4-8″ are predicted. That could pretty well close down the state for a day. They’re only expecting 1-3″ here in the snowbelt. More importantly, of course, they have enough trucks to remove it, and people know how to drive in it.

We’re supposed to get about a foot of snow here this weekend. But you’re right — they have the trucks to deal with it! Safe travels… stay warm!
