I first tried this last year, and thought I’d give it a go again.
January: After a three and a half year hiatus, Mr. B and I once again become the parents of a teenager. This time it’s a girl. All bets are off.
February: We all catch our breath and hope for at least one good snowfall.
March: I take a trip to Syracuse to visit family.
April: I celebrate the half-century mark.
May: Derby Day!
June: Back to North Carolina. Mr. B’s family discovered this state park in 1969 and has been back almost every year since.
July: We all try to stay cool and HS turns 23.
August: BD begins her last year of middle school and HS teaches some intro classes in his second year of grad school.
September: We start getting serious about deciding where BD will attend high school.
October: We find a way to enjoy BD’s weeklong fall break without spending much money.
November: Mr. B manages to get in the last lawn mowing of the season without having the mower break down.
December: We all enjoy a blessed Christmas.
