I have neither friends nor a garden. I’m in a sorry state.
But good for you!
Or a lovely farmers market finally in our own little town on a Thursday evening!

but before I saw Lisa’s post, and needed to say that, I was going to say the following: some would say instead:
“Who needs friends when you have a garden?”
But they’d be just as wrong — you need a garden to be connected to the ground, to the earth, to the soil, and to the growing things. But for a year or three you might get away with occasional visits to other peoples gardens:-)
