That’s what the University of Louisville baseball fans were cheering yesterday.
The Cardinals had an 0-1 record in post-season play prior to this year. Last weekend, our unranked boys staged an upset by winning their four team regional playoff out of the losers’ bracket. Yesterday they clobbered Oklahoma State in the third and deciding game of their super-regional, and now our boys are headed to Nebraska for the College World Series!
Now, I can’t brag that yesterday was a shutout like the first game, which they won 9-0. They did give up two solo homeruns. But not much else.
Final score: Louisville 20, OK State 2. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a baseball game where one team score 20 points before. I’m sure glad it was my team.
All together now: “O-ma-ha! O-ma-ha!”

Well, I have never gotten that excited about a baseball game, but I’m not a huge fan. WTG to your Cardinals and hope they do well in Omaha. The could have picked a more exciting place to have a college world series!!!
