If the box in which your son took his printer to school is stained with black ink from a leak on the trip down, do not just take his word for it that “It’s fine now.” You might want to remove the cartridge before you bring the printer home. Otherwise, hope you were lucky enough to put the printer back in its original plastic bag. The clean-up will still be messy, but at least the ink will be somewhat contained.
