Ah, Spring!

I know it’s still officially winter for another few weeks, but I’m enjoying all the signs of spring.

1.  It’s warm enough to go out without a parka.

2.  My daffodils, which started to come up in January then stopped short in the long cold snap, are showing signs of life again.

3.  Spring training is revving up, with the first baseball games next Wednesday. 

4.  Girl Scout cookies are in the house.

    While we can’t even pretend spring is in the air (it is snowing out adding a clean coat to the piles on the ground) here, there are Girl Scout cookies in the house!

    ahhhh… girl scout cookies- an American icon! One day I will try these legendary treats!
