No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

It turns out that our air conditioning wasn’t working because of the switch we let the power company put on the compressor to help reduce electrical demand at peak periods.  I paid an HVAC tech $140 to find out that it had stopped the compressor from working at all (and to disconnect the little devil).

Wish me luck as I prepare to do battle to get the power company to get them to reimburse our payment.
