It’s a gorgeous, spring-like day here. I haven’t had much chance to get out and enjoy it, so I’ve celebrated between errands. I opened the car windows and blasted “Born to Run” at top volume.
But in many ways it just didn’t feel right. This, is after all, the 30th anniversary edition. Back then I’d have been playing it on an 8-track, not a CD player (even if the CD does look like an itty bitty vinyl LP). And I wouldn’t have had to turn it off to answer a cell phone.
And if I’d even HAD a car back then, it certainly would have been something much cooler than a minivan.
But I have one more errand to run, and plenty of songs left on the album.
