Top 6 Reasons I Know It’s 2006

1. I’ve already been billed for my TurboTax update.

2. My new Colgate University calendar is hanging on my kitchen wall.

3. The Christmas tree is dropping needles all over the living room.

4. I watched the ball drop in Times Square last night. On TV, of course. I was asleep 10 minutes later.

5. A few dozen of our closest friends stopped by today for our 25th annual New Year’s Open House.

6. I’ve reset my Spider Solitaire score to zero, having finished up 2005 with a win rate of 57% (medium difficulty).

    Happy New Year, BGM! We got our tax bill to mark the new year… one of the two guarantees in life! I’ll take that over the other though…
