Home is Where the Heart Is. And the Mama.

Today I don’t have to go anywhere until a meeting at church at 6 PM.

Once upon a time, I’d have been tempted to run a few errands while BD’s at school. The price of gas is making me think twice about any unnecessary trips in the car. So I’m staying home today.

I’m beginning to think this could be a good thing.

I hear ya! I’m planning on just being a homebody too! I’ll have to start running all my errands on the 2 days I have to go to “town” for work!

    Get the bike out, perhaps?

(Yes, I know you’re too far from town).

Yeah, if it were cooler, I would make my kids walk to school and I would ride my bike to work. I might do that later in the year.

But, if you stay at home, you might have to clean. Or, GASP do laundry.

The price of gas has me at home more often, too. Somehow I’m able to ignore the laundry and cleaning. :)
