Stay at Home Mom (for once)

I woke up around 7:30 yesterday morning when Mr. B left for the airport. I’d planned to sleep in, but found that I was wide awake. Don’t you hate it when that happens?

So I got up. I came downstairs in my jammies, figuring I’d get a few things done before I showered and dressed.

Before I knew it, it was lunchtime. Hmmm, perhaps the pajamas could stay on a little longer.

I spent most of the afternoon working on the computer. (Okay, I surfed a few blogs, too.) I eventually sent BD outside to get the mail and paper. I didn’t want to cause any hard feelings in case someone on their way home from work should see me in my pj’s at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Later on, we watched a movie while we ate dinner in front of the TV. Yup. Still in my jammies. By then it was close to bedtime. Well, it was pretty obvious there was no point in getting changed then.

So now it’s morning and I have to take BD to swim team practice. I guess Pajama Day is finally over.

Darn it.

Ahhh, the joys of pajama days — although, some women do wear pants that totally look like pajamas here on the east coast.

So, I guess you’ll just have to move!
