Follow Up to the Fourth

As we got ready to go to a friend’s pool party yesterday, I found BD’s choice of swimsuit coverup…interesting.

It was a Native American costume leftover from a school project.

    This looks like something Keli would have worn at that age. TOTALLY! Not only as a beach coverup, though. This would have been haute cotoure (sp?) for the local opera house or whatever else we’d have been attending. :) Yeah BD!

    Too cute! My kids would love that outfit! (Then of course we’d have to give them make up. and once they have make up, they’ll want a feather for their hat. and once they have a feather…)

    LOL! What a cutie she is! Perhaps it was a little tribute to the Native Americans, who lived here before that fateful day in 1776? :)

    LOL Could have been worse…she could have decided to wear the Great Britain flag or something like that! Now THAT would have been…interesting! ;)
