A couple of inches of snow are already down, with heavy snow predicted tonight. This being Kentucky, the local stations cancelled their regular morning programming and stayed with the weather story. Beyond “Drive slowly or stay home,” is there really that much to say?
Since yours truly was completely out of bread and nearly out of milk (at least I had eggs), I had to take the “drive slowly” option. I think half the local populace was at Kroger. At least now I’m stocked up for Christmas dinner. And since there’s a Starbucks right there , I treated myself to a “Why bother latte” (non-fat decaf).
Now we can batten down the hatches, sing some carols, and enjoy our white Christmas (which incidentally, it looks like my relatives in upstate New York and New England won’t be having). Tee hee.
