Every winning streak eventually comes to an end. Unfortunately, Colgate’s first loss after 21 straight wins was not a pretty one. Delaware beat them 40-0 in the NCAA Division I-AA championship in Chattanooga. It was also bitterly cold at the game. And since I don’t believe any Delaware fans are reading this blog, I will mention that their fans were loud and obnoxious. Reason enough for us to leave before the end of the 3rd quarter, so we wouldn’t have to deal with them in the parking lot. Oh well–it was fun while it lasted!
